Refund Policy
Last updated: May 28, 2026
We want you to be happy with Risefy. This Refund Policy explains when you can withdraw from a purchase, when you may be entitled to a refund, and how to request one. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions.
1. Paddle is our Merchant of Record
All paid Risefy subscriptions, add-ons, and AI credit packs are sold and processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd. (“Paddle”), which acts as the authorised reseller and merchant of record for these purchases. Paddle is responsible for collecting payment, charging any applicable taxes, issuing invoices, and processing refunds.
Because Paddle is the merchant of record, the Paddle Refund Policy and the Paddle Buyer Terms and Conditions also apply to your purchase. Where there is any inconsistency between this Policy and Paddle’s policy, Paddle’s policy will prevail. Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you have under your local law.
2. Free Plan and Trials
Risefy offers a free plan and, where applicable, free trials of paid features. We encourage you to try the Services on the free plan or a trial before purchasing so that you can confirm Risefy fits your needs. You can cancel a trial at any time before it converts and you will not be charged.
3. Discretionary 14-Day Refund Window
In addition to your statutory rights below, Risefy and Paddle may issue a refund on a discretionary basis if you submit a refund request within fourteen (14) calendar days of the date of your Transaction. Submitting a request within this 14-day window does not guarantee a refund — each request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis, taking into account factors such as the nature of the Product, the reason for the request, and how much of the service or how many AI credits have already been used. Paddle may approve a refund in full, approve a partial refund, or decline the request.
4. Statutory Withdrawal Rights by Region
Where your local consumer-protection law grants you an unconditional right to withdraw from a digital purchase, that right always applies and overrides this Policy. The highest standard of protection Paddle applies in each region is summarised below.
- European Union / EEA / Switzerland / United Kingdom: Consumers have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from digital content and service contracts and receive a full refund. The right applies to one-off purchases and to the first payment under a subscription (and, in the UK, to each annual auto-renewal). It does not apply where you have given express consent to begin using a digital product immediately and have acknowledged that this waives your withdrawal right.
- Turkey / Israel: Consumers have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from digital content and service contracts and receive a full refund.
- South Korea / Brazil / China / Canada: Consumers have a 7-day unconditional right to cancel digital content or service contracts after delivery and receive a full refund.
- Singapore: Consumers have a 5-day unconditional right to cancel digital content or services after delivery or first access and receive a full refund.
To exercise a statutory right, submit your request within the period shown above starting from the date of your Transaction.
5. Faulty Products or Persistent Technical Issues
If a Risefy feature you paid for is materially defective or persistently does not work as described, please contact us first at support@risefy.co so we can try to resolve the issue. If we cannot resolve it, contact Paddle support (see Section 7) with details of the issue and any response you received from us. Where there is evidence of a material technical or product defect, Paddle will issue a refund in accordance with applicable consumer-protection laws.
6. Subscriptions, Add-Ons, and AI Credit Packs
- Subscription renewals. Automatic renewal charges are generally not refunded outside the windows in Sections 3 and 4. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then.
- Add-ons. Add-ons linked to a main subscription expire when the main subscription ends, unless otherwise stated. Refund eligibility for add-ons follows the same criteria as the main subscription, subject to your statutory rights.
- AI credit packs and one-time purchases. Credit packs are delivered immediately and become usable as soon as the purchase completes. Outside the discretionary 14-day window and any applicable statutory withdrawal right, credit packs are non-refundable once delivered. Where a refund is issued for a credit pack, any unused balance from that pack will be removed from your account.
- Access after a refund. If a refund is issued, your access to the relevant paid features will end.
- Fraud or refund abuse. Refunds will not be issued where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour.
- Accounts terminated for breach of our Terms and Conditions, our Acceptable Use rules, or applicable law are not eligible for refunds beyond any non-waivable statutory rights.
- Custom enterprise contracts are governed by the refund terms set out in the signed agreement.
7. How to Request a Refund
Because Paddle is the merchant of record, refund requests are processed by Paddle. You can submit a request in any of the following ways:
- Click the “View receipt” or “Manage subscription” link in your Paddle purchase confirmation email.
- Visit paddle.net and select “Request refund”.
- Or contact us first at support@risefy.co and we will help you raise the request with Paddle.
If approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method and processed within 14 days of approval. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take additional time for the credit to appear on your statement.
If your Transaction is not eligible for a refund, you can still cancel the subscription at any time from your account settings to prevent future billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
We encourage you to contact us at support@risefy.co or Paddle at paddle.net before raising a chargeback or dispute with your bank, card issuer, or other payment provider. If a chargeback or payment reversal is initiated, access to the affected paid features may be temporarily suspended while the matter is reviewed. This does not affect your lawful rights to dispute a charge under card-scheme or consumer-protection rules.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The version in effect on the date of your Transaction governs that Transaction. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision.
